Position: Administrative Assistant / Receptionist
Landair is one of New York`s leading Owner`s Representation firms, serving high-visibility clients such as the New York City Ballet, Yale University and the National Basketball Players Association. We provide comprehensive owner`s representation and project management consulting to institutions, government and corporate clients involved in new construction, reconstruction and historic restoration projects; many involving public/private financing/funding. Since 1992, the firm has accomplished a portfolio of both public and private projects representing over $2 billion in assets for which we have provided consulting and technical services.
The firm’s services range from strategic planning/feasibility testing to occupancy planning, as well as management of the entire real estate and construction process. The firm is headquartered in New York with remote offices in Washington DC and Stamford Ct. Landair is comprised of 9 permanent staff and 25+ project based consultants.
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist reports to Comptroller and supports 1) professional project management staff managing multiple projects, 2) Comptroller responsible for financial management and 3) professionals responsible for business development/marketing. We are seeking an employee who takes responsibility for prompt and effective action to meet or exceed the needs of staff and clients. Quality control is essential. Possess motivation and self initiative. Demonstrates effective planning and self-direction in carrying out daily responsibilities, as well as the ability to support 4-5 professionals and work well within a team environment. Position Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience
• schedules and budgets
• writing skills a requirement
• highly organized work methods, ability to perform well under time pressure and orientation to details and task completion, some projects may require after 5:30 hours to comply with deadlines
• verbal communication skills required
• orientation for service excellence
• capable of organizing and prioritizing project requirements for multiple projects
• proficient in MS Word, Quickbooks, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project Management, Page Maker or equivalent
Compensation: 14-18/hr (Salary Commensurate with Experience)
